Massenez Poire Prisonnière Eau de Vie (70cl)

A pear eau de vie from the Massenez distillery, in a 70cl bottle with a box. A whole pear sits inside the bottle, grown there on the tree through a method that lets the fruit develop within the glass before distillation. The pears are picked when fully ripe, gently fermented and then distilled by traditional methods. The spirit is clear, with a nose of fresh pear, a little vanilla and a faint floral note. The texture is soft and silky, and a fresh sensation lingers on the palate. It can be served as a digestif or used in cocktails.
