Massenez Poire Williams Eau de Vie (70cl)

This is a pear eau de vie from the Massenez distillery, made only from Williams pears chosen for their aromatic richness. The pears are picked by hand at full ripeness and distilled by traditional methods. It is clear and crystalline in the glass. The nose is fresh and lively, with pear and delicate floral hints. On the palate the pear flavour is intense yet soft, leaving a clean, lasting finish. It is served fresh as a digestif, perhaps with a spoon dessert or dark chocolate, and also works in cocktails.
