Massolino Barolo 2019 is a full-bodied Nebbiolo from the family-owned Massolino estate in Serralunga, in the Barolo DOCG of Piedmont. The estate was founded in 1896 and is known for Barolos that combine traditional methods with a polished modern finish.
This wine was aged in large Slavonian oak casks for up to 30 months.
It is a serious, tannic Barolo, bright and firm in style. Crushed rocks, red and purplish fruit and dried flowers emerge with a little coaxing.
