Matsui Mizunara Cask Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Matsui Mizunara Cask is a Japanese single malt, distilled at the Kurayoshi Distillery in Tottori and bottled at 43% in a 700ml bottle. No artificial colouring is added, and the spirit is brought to strength with natural spring water from Mount Daisen. It is aged in Mizunara, a porous Japanese oak known for being difficult to work. The wood gives sandalwood, incense and spice character. The nose shows sandalwood, cinnamon and dried fruit. On the palate there are vanilla, caramel, citrus and baking spice over rich oak. The finish is long, silky and warming, with floral oak and tobacco notes.
