Matsui Sakura Cask is a Japanese single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, taken from a sakura cask.
Its theme comes from Kikukawa Eizan's ukiyo-e work "Beauty in the Cherry Blossom Garden", which portrays Japanese women of strength and grace. Matsui saw the sakura cask as a good match for the picture, as it also has an underlying strength of flavour.
The aroma is described as sweet.
