Mazzetti Golden Globe Grappa Invecchiata (50cl)

An aged grappa from Mazzetti, presented in a 50cl bottle. It has a warm, bright, compact amber colour and a balanced bouquet of ripe dried fruit, vanilla, light toasty notes and a subtle hint of sweet spices. The palate is soft and well balanced, with enveloping but measured warmth, elegant structure and satisfying persistence, with caramel and almond returning on the finish. It suits slow sipping neat or slightly chilled in small tulip glasses, and pairs with dark chocolate, dry pastries and aged cheeses.
