Mazzetti Grappa di Barbaresco Barricata (70cl)

A grappa from Mazzetti, made from Barbaresco pomace and refined in barrique. It has a decisive character softened by ageing, with warm vanilla and cocoa notes, light toast and a spicy hint. The profile stays clear and not heavy, with underlying softness. On the palate it is enveloping but balanced, with sustained alcoholic warmth, a velvety texture and good persistence, leaving sweet and slightly bitter traces on the finish. It suits after a meal, dark chocolate, aged cheeses or dry fruit desserts.
