This Mazzetti grappa from the Storie di Vitigno line is aged in wood and comes in a 150cl magnum. It is warm yet balanced, with a rounded sip that softens the alcoholic structure.
The aroma recalls dried fruit, vanilla and light sweet spices from cask contact. The sip is clean, enveloping and persistent without being heavy.
It suits after-dinner sharing, with dark chocolate desserts or aged cheeses, and can close a more structured dinner. Serve not too cold to appreciate its aromas and texture.
