Mazzetti Grappa di Moscato Barricata (70cl)

A Moscato grappa from Mazzetti, aged in wood. It combines the aromatic character typical of the grape with the softness given by wood ageing. On the nose it opens with floral notes and ripe white fruit, while the cask adds vanilla, light toast and delicate spice. In the mouth it is round and enveloping, with well-integrated warmth and a persistence that recalls the aromas, plus a slightly almond-like return and a finish on sweet-bitter notes. Presented in a box, it suits after-dinner drinking or gifting; try it slightly chilled with dry pastries, dark chocolate or hard cheeses, or in meditation.
