An aged grappa presented in a wooden frame, intended as much for display as for drinking. It has an amber colour and a measured nose of vanilla, almond, dried fruit, warm wood and delicate spices. The palate is enveloping, warm and balanced, with good persistence and light toasted notes. The finish is clean and pleasant. It is suited to slow sipping after a meal, with dark chocolate or aged cheeses, and is best served at room temperature or slightly cool.
