Mc O'Isles is a blended malt from House of McCallum, made as a tribute to the whiskies of the Scottish islands, Islay in particular. It is matured in Caribbean rum casks.
The nose joins peat smoke to the sweetness of rum, with exotic spice, vanilla, pineapple, mango and light notes of seaweed and salt. On the palate it is soft and round, with peat smoke, rum sweetness, caramel, honey and fruit, and a touch of ginger and black pepper. The finish is warm and lasting, with smoky and sweet notes returning.
