McAfee's Benchmark Old No. 8 is a Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled and aged by Buffalo Trace Distillery. The mash bill combines corn, rye and malted barley, and the bourbon is bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and a hint of oak. On the palate there are toasted nuts, corn and a touch of spice, followed by a warm, lingering finish of toffee and oak.
