McConnell's Irish Whisky

McConnell's Irish Whisky is a five-year-old blend of Irish malt and Irish grain whisky, rested in select Bourbon casks. The casks bring out a vanilla sweetness, with the Irish character sitting behind it. The brand dates back to 1776, when John and James McConnell opened their distillery in Belfast and created what is described as the first recorded Irish whisky brand. It was exported widely, including to America, until the distillery closed in the 1930s. This blend of malted barley and grain whisky is a revival of that name.
