Meikle Toir The Chinquapin One is a five-year-old peated Speyside single malt, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in virgin oak from the Northern Ozarks in Missouri, and is described as a smoked, spicy malt.
The nose brings smouldering oak embers, burnt liquorice and honey, with ginger, butterscotch and orange peel. On the palate come cocoa, creme brulee and toasted almonds, with cinnamon, aniseed and campfire smoke.
