Meiyo 15 Year Old is a Japanese pure malt whisky from the Bushido Whisky range. The whisky spent all 15 years in ex-bourbon casks.
Tropical fruit arrives first and is intense from the start, with pineapple the most prominent note. Gentle oak follows from those casks, and the finish is smooth, with little to no burn.
