A red wine from Bolgheri, blended mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with small amounts of other native grapes. It shows a deep ruby colour, with mature red fruit, sweet spices and a hint of vanilla from oak barrique ageing.
The palate is well balanced, with elegant tannins and a pleasant aromatic persistence. It suits red meat, game and aged cheeses.
