A Chianti Classico DOCG from Melini. It shows a discreet ruby red colour with aromas of crisp red fruit, cherry and raspberry, plus a light floral note, subtle earthy hints and a balsamic vein. The palate is savoury and well balanced, with fresh acidity, moderate tannins and a smooth texture. It finishes with a slightly spicy and saline aftertaste. Serve at around 16-18 °C. It pairs with grilled meat, rustic ragù and medium-aged cheeses.
