Melini Morellino di Scansano DOCG

A red wine from Melini, made from Sangiovese grown in the Maremma area of Tuscany. It shows an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with spice and a light herbaceous note. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, with soft, well-integrated tannins, medium structure and fresh acidity. The finish is long and pleasantly fruity. It suits pasta with meat sauces, red meat, game and aged cheeses, and can also be enjoyed on its own.
