Melini San Lorenzo Chianti Superiore DOCG

A Chianti from Melini, presented as an expression of Tuscany and its winemaking tradition. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections as it ages. The nose offers cherry, plum and a light spiciness recalling vanilla and black pepper, from maturation in wood. On the palate it is robust yet balanced, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a persistent, harmonious finish. Its lively acidity makes it suitable for pasta with meat sauces, roasts and aged cheeses. The grapes come from the most suitable hills of the Chianti region.
