A Merlot from Casa San Nicolò, grown on clay and limestone soils.
It has an intense ruby red colour, with aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, elegant spicy notes and light vanilla from wood ageing. On the palate it is soft and harmonious, with velvety tannins and a pleasant persistence.
It suits roast meats, aged cheeses and traditional Italian dishes.
