A Merlot DOC from the Colli Bolognesi, produced by La Mancina.
It shows a clear ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, plum and light herbaceous notes. On the palate the sip is soft, with tannins present but not dominant and a discreet persistence leaving traces of fruit and a light spicy accent.
It suits light meat dishes, simple sauces and non-aged cheeses, and is best served at moderate temperature.
