Merlot IGT Casale Del Giglio (13%)

A medium ruby red Merlot with aromas of ripe red fruits, plum and light floral notes. On the palate it shows soft tannins and a medium body, supported by balanced acidity that carries the fruit without heaviness. It is an immediately drinkable wine with a simple but pleasant flavour profile, favouring fresh, juicy sensations over opulence. With a little aeration it reveals light spicy notes that lengthen the finish. Serve slightly cool, around 16-18 C, with everyday dishes such as pasta with sauce, light meats, pizza and mildly cured salumi.
