Merlot IGT Cavadiserpe Mandrarossa (13%)

A Merlot produced in Sicily, expressing the elegance of this international grape in a Mediterranean setting. Grown in the Cavadiserpe vineyards, it reflects volcanic soil and Mediterranean climate, giving structure and depth. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections, with aromas of ripe forest fruits, cherry and a delicate spicy note evolving towards cocoa and tobacco. Ageing in oak barriques contributes to an elegant balance between softness and velvety tannins, making the wine harmonious and very drinkable. It pairs well with roast red meats and aged cheeses.
