Method and Madness – Limited Edition 33 Year Old Mizunara Oak Cask

This is a 33 year old single pot still whiskey from Method and Madness in Ireland. It is described as the first single pot still whiskey finished in a Japanese Mizunara oak puncheon. The whiskey began in 1988 and spent its first 30 years maturing before it was refilled into the Mizunara puncheon for a further three years. It is a limited edition. The character is one of spicy pot still alongside perfumed oak.
