This is a single grain Irish whiskey finished in Spanish oak, from the Method and Madness brand. The brand was created by the Masters and Apprentices of Midleton Distillery, the home of Jameson, Redbreast and Powers. Its whiskies are made at the Midleton experimental site, which is large for an experimental distillery. Single malt, single grain and pot still whiskey are the core styles on which the team tries out different cask finishes, alongside releases using alternative grains and other projects.
