This is a 28 year old single pot still Irish whiskey from Method & Madness, in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition and is described as a world first for Irish whiskey. It was aged for 6 years in Bourbon barrels, then re-casked for a further 22 years in a Ruby Port cask. The idea of pairing single pot still with a single Ruby Port pipe was put forward 28 years ago, and this release is the result.
