Mezcal Espadin Encantado (70cl, 43%)

A mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, made exclusively from Espadin agave grown in volcanic soils. The agave is cooked in an underground stone oven and fermented with natural yeasts, then distilled in copper stills. It shows smoky, red-earth and herbal aromas, with dried fruit and spice on the palate. Best enjoyed neat or alongside Mexican dishes such as tacos or ceviche.
