A mezcal from Los Siete Misterios, made from Espadín agave in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is cooked in stone and earth ovens, giving a distinctive, deeply smoky character.
Distillation in copper stills contributes intense, complex aromas of burnt wood, smoke, aromatic herbs and a subtle mineral note. On the palate it is warm and velvety, with mature agave, delicate spice and a persistent, harmonious finish.
It suits traditional Mexican dishes, grilled meats, or sipping neat.
