Mezcal Joven Hacienda Dolores (70cl, 47%)

Mezcal Joven from Hacienda Dolores is produced in Oaxaca using the traditional method, with agave plants cooked in stone-covered underground pits. It is bottled young, without ageing, to preserve the fresh, vibrant aromas of the agave. On the nose it reveals aromatic herbs and a distinctive smoky aroma, with layers of earth, pepper and traces of fruit. On the palate it is robust yet balanced, with a sweet entry that gives way to a long, spicy finish. It can be sipped neat or used as a base for refined cocktails.
