Mezcal Monte Alban (70cl)

A mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, made from agave cooked in pit ovens over hot stones. It is distilled in small batches using traditional methods. Crystal clear, it has penetrating wood smoke on the nose with earthy notes and a hint of sweet agave. The palate is intensely smoky, with damp earth, pepper and natural sweetness, and the finish is long and persistently smoky.
