Mezcal Montelobos Ensamble Joven Puebla (70cl)

A joven mezcal from Montelobos, made in Puebla. Gentle smoke mixes with green agave, aromatic herbs and citrus peel on the nose, with a faint mineral note balancing the vegetal side. The ensemble of different agaves adds complexity without heaviness, while the joven style keeps the profile lean and inviting. On the palate it is rounded with controlled warmth, with herbal returns and a savoury, slightly bitter finish. It works neat or in cocktails with smoky character, and pairs with savoury or smoked dishes, dark chocolate and aged cheeses.
