Michel Couvreur Clearach

Clearach is a Scotch single malt from Michel Couvreur, aged for three years in sherry wine casks. The name refers to spirit held in cask during its first three years. The colour is a very pale, golden amber. The cask gives it a silky texture and a lively presence on the palate, despite its youth. The nose has almond and frangipane, a fresh, grassy note and touches of honey. On the palate it is silky and vivid, with the sherry cask clearly showing.
