Michter's 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye is an American rye whiskey bottled at 46.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from American rye and aged for ten years in a hand-selected charred oak barrel, then softened further by Michter's own filtration.
It returned after almost three years off the market, when the then Master Distiller Willie Pratt approved its re-release in April 2014.
It is described as having deep notes of vanilla and caramel, toasted almonds and cinnamon, with a generous measure of crushed pepper and a hint of orange citrus.
