Michter's 20 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey 2021 is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 57.1%. It spent 20 years in fire-charred new American white oak.
The bourbon was released in November 2021, the first 20 Year bottling since 2019. It is bottled only when Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson judge selected extra-aged barrels to be ready, at the barrels' own strength.
The nose is intense black cherry and rich molasses, with honeysuckle and roast pecans. The palate has toasted charred oak and a dessert-like depth, layered and long.
