This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's, made from American corn and aged for 20 years in a hand-selected charred white oak barrel. It is then softened further by the distillery's own filtration.
Michter's regards 17 to 20 years as the point at which certain barrels reach an exceptional level of quality. Master Distiller Pam Heilmann personally selects the barrels for this bottling.
