Bomberger's Declaration is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the team behind Michter's, released each year. This is the 2025 release, bottled at 54% ABV (108 proof) in a 70cl bottle.
It was aged in air-dried, specially seasoned Chinquapin oak barrels, which were then carefully toasted and charred.
The nose offers salted caramel and a rich nuttiness. The palate is densely caramelised, with jammy berries and milk chocolate. The finish is long, with sweet spices and drying oak.
