A Kentucky bourbon from Michter's, in a 70cl bottle. Like all bourbon it is matured in new American oak, and it is produced in small batches of barely two dozen barrels. In the glass it is a bright, intense amber. The nose brings caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and oak. The palate is balanced and follows the nose, and the finish keeps returning to the oak.
