Shenk's Homestead is an annual sour mash release from Michter's, here in its 2025 edition at 45.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled to honour the American whiskey figure John Shenk, and each small batch is made with a portion of a previously made mash.
The nose is rich and toasty. Honey, caramel and baking spices follow on the palate, leading into a long, smooth finish.
