Michter's Unblended American Whiskey is a Kentucky whiskey from the Michter's Distillery, bottled in 2022 at 41.7% in a 70cl bottle. Michter's is the successor to Shenk's Distillery, an American name brought back to life.
It is matured in refill ex-bourbon casks rather than new charred oak, which means it cannot be called bourbon. The use of refilled wood releases quite different aromas. The colour is natural.
