Michter's US*1 Barrel Strength Rye is a straight rye whiskey, here in its 2022 release. It is bottled at cask strength without dilution or filtration, and made using Michter's low barrel entry proof process. Each bottle reflects its individual barrel.
The nose offers burnt sugar, dark rye spice and dried fruit. On the palate, black pepper, molasses and honeycomb give way to hints of leather and oak, with a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is dry and spice-laden, lingering with warmth.
