Michter's US*1 Barrel Strength Rye 2025 (55.1%)

This is the 2025 release of Michter's US*1 Barrel Strength Rye, a straight rye made from select American rye and matured in fire-charred new oak barrels. It is bottled straight from the barrel at full strength, 110.2 proof (55.1%), without filtering, so each release reflects the way its own barrels have aged. On the nose there is cinnamon, clove, toasted oak and vanilla. The palate brings caramel, peppercorn, stone fruit and a hint of cocoa, and the finish is long, warm and dry with lingering spice.
