Michter's US*1 Barrel Strength Rye is a Kentucky rye whisky bottled at full barrel strength, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak.
The nose is led by rye spice, with delicate vanilla and toasted wood. On the palate there is black pepper, lightly smoky caramel and dried fruit, and the finish is long with a herbal note.
