Michter's US*1 Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled at 42.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from selected rye grain and matured in American white oak. The nose is sweetish, with caramel, vanilla, blackberry, cherry and warm cinnamon. The palate is warm and quite woody, with black pepper, marmalade, plum, spices and a little caramel.
