Michter's US*1 Small Batch Sour Mash is an American whisky from Kentucky, in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches by the sour mash method, in which part of an earlier fermented mash is mixed into the new fermentation.
Vanilla, caramel and sweet spice come through on the nose, with light toasted notes and ripe fruit. The palate balances softness and structure, and the finish is warm and persistent.
