This is a limited release Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's, bottled in 2025 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It starts as Michter's US 1 Sour Mash whiskey.
After its regular maturation it receives a second period in a barrel made specially for the purpose. The wood is air-dried for 18 months, then toasted but not charred.
Tasting notes mention toffee, vanilla, honey and milk chocolate, with orange peel, toast and campfire smoke, cherry and spice.
