Micil Inverin Single Cask is a lightly peated Irish single malt, finished in Amontillado sherry casks and sold in a 70cl bottle. It was made on the shores of Galway Bay, and only 100 bottles were filled.
The nose combines gentle peat smoke with toasted oak, dried apricot and summer berries. The palate is silky, with red fruit compote, roasted nuts and vanilla spice, while the Amontillado finish adds a bright, fruity acidity. The finish is long, with sherry sweetness, gentle smoke and a touch of sea salt.
