Miclo Marc de Gewurztraminer (35cl)

This is an Alsace marc, an eau-de-vie distilled from the pressed skins left after the harvest. It is made from destemmed pomace of Gewurztraminer, the leading grape of Alsace wines, and carries an appellation d'origine contrôlée. It is regarded as one of the most traditional eaux-de-vie of the region, and the most fragrant of the marcs. The bouquet is broad and the fruit generous, with a rich aromatic power. In Alsace it is used to dress sorbets and iced kougelhopf.
