Midleton – Barry Crockett Legacy

Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery in Co. Cork, named after the distillery's second generation Master Distiller. It was the first time since John Jameson that an Irish Distillers product carried a Master Distiller's name. The whiskey is a selection of pot still whiskeys matured only in American bourbon barrels, with a small contribution from pot still distillate matured in an unseasoned American barrel. The mash combines malted and unmalted barley, and the spirit is triple distilled in copper pot stills. The nose offers vanilla, toasted oak, lime and pear. On the palate come light pepper, citrus and mandarin orange, and the finish fades to clean American oak.
