Midleton 'Barry Crockett Legacy' is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It is named after the master distiller Barry Crockett.
The whiskey is made from malted and unmalted barley, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in bourbon barrels together with a touch of new oak.
The nose brings vanilla, sweet spice, toasted oak and citrus zest. On the palate there is honey, fresh fruit and creamy vanilla, with gentle spice and a hint of toasted oak. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and subtle oak and spice.
