This is Midleton Very Rare Irish whiskey from the year 2000, signed by Barry Crockett.
Straw in colour, it has a light nose with sunflower oils, elder, honeysuckle and acacia, vanilla and ripe apples, followed by meadow honey, madeleines, mango peel, fresh hazelnuts and toasted maize bread.
On the palate peaches, melon and mango compete with heather honey, sugarcane syrup, peanut butter, orange blossom and ripe banana. The finish is good, with coconut and mango in the aftertaste.
